Feo Ul as Minion/Trust/Scholar Glamour, Please :) [Please no spoilers]

A thread thinking to the future, not really for now. Like when pixie beast tribe is released or what have you ~

Telling people I've beat Titania just as a reference point if people wondered what I knew so far or not. Please avoid MSQ spoilers here . I ask for that since I don't think we need to make it a spoiler only thread for the request itself.

As people will know early on (like 5 minutes in) Feo Ul is one of the first few NPC we meet in ShB and acts as our retainer carrier for the source <-> first.

I've quite liked them so far and was thinking it would be awesome if we could combine them into some other content as well.

I thought of three variants, maybe people could think of more but:

• As a minion, self explanatory, in terms of acquisition perhaps its a very costly token minion that requires Pixie tokens. It can be easier to get, I just thought it might be a pretty sweet reward since they're well detailed and a pretty good size for minions.
  
• As a trust member, they can talk to us.. Actually hold that go back to the minion idea - if they becomes a minion they should still talk to us. Like Navi from legend of zelda lol. Anyway on trust member, they could be a multi-role member and having the dialog / interactions with you and your team would be cool. Like if someone falls they rages occasionally and says they belong to them, their little sprouts lol, causing a fast raise and increased damage. As a battle member they could have a pretty cool own Lb/Ultimate skill moment where they goes from their normal self to something a bit more powerful .
  
• As a scholar glamour, now I don't really play scholar but I could imagine many scholars getting hype that they are considered for the glamour system that summoner is (??, vapor system? lol). Personally would prefer the first two (given I doubt often play Scholar), but just thought to say it. Also may consider scholars could unlock new faerie glamour by working out pacts with the Pixie best tribe which could be pretty neat. Maybe if you wanted them to feel real special it requires a specific rank to buy a scholar only token that starts a small quest to unlock a new glamour (a bit like a baby pilgrimage/ritual for the pact).

Also as a huge aside, and on the topic of the two Il Mheg beast tribes, I feel we could get a beast tribe out of the Amaro too... :3.. Maybe it connects to Chocobo Paradise (I personally would like to bring Amaro into that content wheel house), like the magic used to make their nature is a sort of ancient chocobo magic and in this sense they're sort of relatives and are connected.

The fact that fairies for the most part are just mobile healing buffs now, they might as well have glamours like this, just 'cause they don't have to really add anything.

Feo Ul annoys me a bit, so I wouldn't use her, but I wouldn't mind having other glamours, or something similar to minions, since that's kind of what the fairy has become.

I would love this! Actually I really want fairy glamours and have done for ages - seems a bit unfair that summoners have them but we don't. Especially since Eos and Selene are identical now so that's basically what their colour difference is. Even if they stay fairies that's fine, but some different designs would be nice.

I wish they had class quests in Shadowbringers, seeing the fairies in SHB made me really wonder if Lilly is related to them in some way, since they look pretty similar. There could at least be some interesting interactions involving the fae

I don't think that there is any Lore-relation between Pixies and the SCH's Faeries (names aside). But a jest from any of the Pixies would have been cute.

/hug lol. Sorry if you don't like their change. I don't play them so I wouldn't really know. (I play every job to level them up on occasion but uh.. scholar levels through summoner so I've never actually played that one job haha).

I think Legend of Zelda gave me some sort of nostalgic pangs for pushing pixies/fairys. Some of Feo Ul's possessive dialog had me laughing/smiling.

Yeah I think she could be an interesting one in combat- SE could have a bit of fun with her (both dialog/interactions and spells), but a minion would be fine as well of course.

I think because they've put in a lot of model work for these pixies already it could be a nice opportunity to reuse (can color change and stuff of course) the assets for Scholar, so I think it makes it more compelling possibility for SE. Especially if their Summoner Glamour system is capable of adding Scholar without much pain.

I figure the pixie and our fairy are not really the exact same but since the pixie of ShB are capable with magic that SE could put in some lore about that and just call it a day. Like perhaps part of the Scholar glamour quest is the Pixies interacting with your fairy and then mimicking/teasing them, and then arguing with each other who gets to be your new fairy. Yay pixie unlocked for scholar glamour .

This should definitely be a thing~! Perhaps part of the scholar glamour quest or something, but that would be awesome . Not sure how related they are, or are not, but I believe they could still lore in a reason why a pixie could in a fashion act as your fairy. Like if you make a pact with a pixie they may be able to access some of your knowledge and connections to the fae magic that's like the source's.

I mean we could have that as well . I think it would be kind of neat to see beast tribes get a pass over that adds more unique / valuable items, like your standard mount from the pixie beast tribe may be 30 tokens. Dress of Titania x 100 (it's pretty epic), Hair x 65, etc.

Not sure if there is any sort of connection at all, though I imagine if one does not exist a tentative one could be added. Beyond that they're similar but just took different paths because different worlds, perhaps they have a similar magic structure, or the pixies are capable of mimicking Faerie magic once they've made a pact with you. But yeah they clearly have some differences, but not enough that I think you couldn't play with it a little if you wanted :P (giving some story when doing so of course).

Sad that they don't play with your fairy, that would be super cute. Perhaps they make a few interactions and have on a rare timer every so often you have the chance that a pixie shows up to comment on your fairy. Could even have them play a trick on you like a 2 second gravity to your fairy (nothing serious but a visible clear game lol).

The concept of Pixie interacting with Fairy is a pretty consistent response so that'd certainly be a neat addition (added some stuff to OP).
