The Diversity the Viera and Hrothgar bring to the game is wonderful :)

I agree it adds a nice visual diversity, also I am quite pleased with the facial animations. I don't look silly when making an emotion, and unlike my Highlander (who I did also love) my Hrothgar's shocked face looks far less derpy lol. Highlander/Hyur shocked face is like shocked to their very core, to the bottoms of their soul contains only pure shock haha.

Also am very happy with the amount of Hrothgar I've seen. I remember way back people telling me that a Ronso-like/beast race (years ago) just wouldn't do even if it added more variety (few would like it, and even few would play them it was said). Of course I wasn't 100% sure but I had felt quite confident that it would be fine.. Nice to be validated lol. I'm sure there are actually more Viera (by a lot) just because it matches that pretty race stereotype that seems more like a hard truth (blood elves, night elves, etc, etc, pick an mmorpg the pretty races are more popular).

I've definitely been hoping for a beast race since 1.0, but I never thought it'd be done. Seeing Hrothgar announced, and now seeing them on game, I cannot contain how excited I am! Their animations are amazing and their expressions are equally so! I'm happy to see so many others enjoying them as well.

I was planning to go cat daddy but I ended up liking viera more than I expected. I was far more excited for Hrothgar though I was hoping for more options.

I'd like to make a cat daddy alt, but I'll have to wait for primal to no longer be congested.

I was hesitant to try Viera coz I thought they'd all look the same but quite the contrary. Vieras are pretty diverse. One face can look so different with a little tweak here and there. They're a great addition.

I thought I would be annoyed at the bunny boom. But to be honest, it made me happy for a weird reason...

You see, I play an elezen woman (a short one at that). And most female player characters are the small miqos and au'ras of the world. The only other race taller than me are roes, but I've literally seen more unicorns than roe women. But since viera came out, the height average for eorezan women has shot up!

No longer do I stick out of the crowds, seeming more ganky and awkward at times. I'm average height, slightly below average sometimes. It really put my character in a new light, and made me love her even more. As weird as it sounds, having taller women around her makes her look cuter. ♡

Whats up with the hair styles of the viera? My girlfriend was really happy after release and switched back to Miqote cause she is missing felt 80% of the available hairstyles. Yshtola, Minfilia, Noctis, the new Gold Saucer Hairstyle... also no hats?!

Nearly every Viera looks the same. No real customization present here

I've wanted Viera in XIV since I started playing in 2013 so this is a dream come true.

Hrothgar I wasn't so sure about, but after playing through the MSQ, I love them.

Hrothgar are GOOD BOYS and I want to pet them all.

Why are you so negative? I’m in love with my Hrothgar and will never go back! For the first time I feel like my character is right.

Yeah I love not having parties of mostly miqos! (No hate for em, its just more interesting to have other races). One thing I noticed is a lot of roes have magically disappeared. I used to be a femroe but being able to play a monstrous/bestial race was too good to pass up.
