I'm not sure if that includes the supernatural, but walking corses known as ghilman having been running amok outside of the south entrance. They grab anyone who wanders too close, and drag them under the sand.

I suspect that the word corses was meant to be corpses.

This quest is found in Norvrandt at Amh Araeng.

It is a level 70 quest called "From Darts till Dawn"

Corse is an archaic form of "corpse".

They are also an undead type in Final Fantasy XI.
