    Trying to move MAC-64 bit installation folder to flashdrive

    Hello! I've been struggling with an issue i've been trying to solve for a while now. I decided to install the new MAC-64 bit version, and I did so by placing the FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE icon into the Applications folder. The game installs fine, and the game files end up being in the Application Support folder on MAC. I have limited space, so I was wondering how I could move all of this to my flashdrive. Whenever I move the launcher and the game files to the flashdrive, and open the launcher, the launcher decides to install the game again to the Application Support folder. How can I fix this?

    Are you familiar with installing things on an external drive? While I'm not well-versed with macs despite ironically typing this on an imac (bootcamp though), you'll need to declare the location of the external drive during the installation process. AFAIK with mac installers, it's a bit different where you have no real immediate choice. I can't confirm this process since I don't have OSX installed anymore but here are instructions from stack exchange.
