Nascent Flash and Holmgang - PvP

Would it be possible to make Nascent Flash not require a target for PvP? It kind of sucks not being able to use it in Frontlines when (1) your party happens to be dead but there are tons alliance members nearby, and (2) you're caught in a 1v1 and need a bit of self-healing.

This might be a big ask, but could we get Holmgang to have a 15 yard range in pvp? 10 yard pull is fine since melee attacks are 5 yards now. Would be cool if it could be like Unmend with a 15 yard range, and 10 yard pull in.

But the big thing is Nascent Flash. It's just too restrictive to use as it is - especially in PvP.

Other than that, I'm loving War burst in this expansion. It's much easier to secure kills in frontlines. If we can get Nascent Flash to work without a target I think War would be perfect.

I'm not a big feast player, but I feel it works okay in Feast, since the restriction is that it must be cast on a party member, that isn't an issue in feast. It also has a huge cast range if I remember it correctly. With the small map in feast and the fast rez times, there's usually someone around you can tag with Nascent Flash/Glint. There's also macros you can use to make the action easier to use.

But I think the big issue is in Frontlines (and Rival Wings types of maps) where there isn't a lot of coordination sometimes. Also, the maps are huge and it isn't uncommon to find yourself in the thick of battle with no teammates around because they're all dead, or newly rezzed and running across the huuugggee map to get back to where everyone else is. Rezzing also takes much longer in Frontlines than in Feast. So chances are that you're going to find youself sometimes with no teammates around and no way of using Nascent Flash. There may be alliance members close by, but it doesn't work cross-alliance groups.

Or let's say you're newly rezzed, and you're running back to the main group/mass of people in your GC, and there's some random soloer or duo ganking people on the way. It really sucks to not be able to use all of your actions/abilities to fight for your life.

TLDR, in Frontlines or Rival Wings type of PvP, where there are multiple alliance groups, really big maps, long rezz times that get longer the more someone dies, less coordination, and where it isn't uncommon for an entire team to get wiped out in a single engagement, means that its likely you're going to experience instances where you are without a party member and unable to use Nascent Flash. That's why it should be changed so that it doesn't require a target imo.

It might. If there isnt a party member nearby and it selects an alliance member it will just fail. I use a more complicated macro which targets my focus target and if he isnt available, goes to my next party member amd so on.
