As has already been said with not letting people play as child like characters, I want to further this by saying with some of the armour/costume pieces that exist in game, it really wouldn't go down well.

They kind of answered this at some event recently, there's no way because of the...erm...'derivative content' it would give fuel for. Honestly I can't disagree with them.

Face it, Alphinaud's model and the other child models could easily made into like... late teens, early 20s. I wouldn't mind playing the child au ra model and it'd still look older than Lalas and potentially fem au ra.

The problem already exists.

If we can't have the model, can we at least have younger faces? Elezen and Highlanders desperately need them.
