It's the second most subbed MMO with numbers going up everyday. How much more money needs to be thrown before you call it "stable"?

WoW expansion launch - no queues
ESO expansion launch - no queues
GW2 expansion launch - no queues

This is the only modern MMO with servers of 1999. It's quite embarrassing.

They see things we don't see and they have solutions created with the budget they're afforded and the knowledge of the staff they have on hand. If you have any better ideas, feel free to throw a resume their way and let them know that you know more than whoever they have hired there. Just include all your MMO experience like you did in your post, that should convince them.

Shadowbringers is their highest funded expansion. Their development team is now sitting close to 300 members. This is ON PAR with WoW team and HIGHER than other MMO's.

FFXIV money is used to fund other projects, like you know, that one indie game, Final Fantasy VII Remake or that other indie game that released a while back, Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3.
