The MSQ....

I just completed the MSQ. First I want to start by thanking OP for saving me the work and creating your own thread Haha. But allno wanna say is this expansion has exceeded my expectations across all boards. The story telling, environments, character development, music, everything was just fantastic. And the final quests and final boss sequence were phenomenal executed. This truly was a Masterpiece of an expansion and I hope they continue to deliver like this in the future. All of the dungeons and trials are really well designed and fun. I have never felt like this after completing the MSQ for this game and honestly I'm astounded at the quality we got. Thank you Yoshida and his team! Super thankful for Shadowbringers.

I feel the same, really. It was just "perfect"; THANK YOU a lot for the story, musics, characters development, the world, battle, etc. I was so happy and sad at the end of the MSQ. All make me feel I want a lot more still, want to know everything from this world. I really really hope the dev team will keep doing like this. The dark story was sad, amazing, incredible, intense, epic - just perfect.

I was wishing to see it from the beginning but really after 6 years, you did a perfect one. Thank you so much for your work Yoshida and all FFXIV's devs !

I'm just a little past the first dungeon and my gosh the story-telling, character development, music and overall pacing are just phenomenal! So far this expansion has been then breath of fresh air that I was looking for after SB left a sour taste in my mouth!

I'm really enjoying it so far (up to the level 75 quests in Rak'tika currently), but there is one small part that sucks...

Ran'jit. Guy has no personality, no reason to be crazy strong, unbeatable, and able to quickly head us off everywhere. He's obviously just a cheap plot device to make us feel like there's even more urgency, and it's not needed. And he's there constantly.

Everything else has been really good though. And much better at conveying the emotions they want to get across compared to previous expansions, other than they did with Yotsuyu and Gosetsu.

I just got to the Rak’tika area, and the story and dungeons so far have been amazing. The first one especially was such a good bring in to the story.

There’s a lot of emotional bits in here too which I really enjoy. I hope to see more of this when I get close to the end

So far has made me cry quite a bit of times. Man...some of this stuff is so sad.
Even some of the side quest.

ShadowBringers is already better than SB's imo. So Much feels makes really care about the characters and how the light is affecting everything in the first.

That part of the story was so well executed that I couldn't even fathom the emotion I was feeling. It was well done and reminiscent of a scene from Full Metal Alchemist....
