I kinda wish for this reason there was some way to sample all the voice files in character creation so we could learn every aspect of our characters including battle voices.

The character creator has always been so bad with this, and it's even more noticeable with Viera since the emotes are reserved and subtle on purpose.

I think they could also fix it by just opening up the aesthetician options to everything but changing race and sex. I know that it doesn't strictly make sense, but I doubt SE is making tons of cash off people wanting to change their eye color as it is, and it's not like it would be any more "immersion-breaking" than half the mounts and all the minions in the game.

I went with voice 2 and I feel like it's pretty ok tbh. In general though the models are bulkier than I thought and that, paired with the limited hair options and odd combat voices has me wanting to swap race again lol. Oh well.
