The longest I've had on Phoenix so far was about 850 ish when the expansion first dropped. Today was about 300.

I am on Brynhildr, and while not an overpopulated server, I had a few concerns because I was already getting small queue times a few weeks before Early access. When early access went live, I had a small issue with character data not loading, had to go out and back a couple times - that was from everyone logging in at once I expect, was able to change races to Viera then had 990 queue but it was less than 15 minutes to get through. I was pleasantly surprised. Since then, I've had queues of 30 most times I go to log in. I do feel for people who are on hugely populated servers, but I am not sure there is any way that Square can fix this, other than what they already do by offering free world transfers from congested worlds to new/preferred worlds. If a person on a congested server chooses not to take advantage of that, then you have to resign yourself to long queues while everyone tries to play.
You could plan ahead, and log off on another, less congest world using the world visit ability, but you would have to plan ahead... and then resign yourself to not being able to visit your house if you have one or use retainers, which is a problem.
It’s weird my queues on Faerie have never been more than 15 to 25
When servers (balmung especially last expansion) were continually having such long queue times for extended time, their solution was a quick restart since a lot of the problem was from people who bypassed the 30 minute timer since it's simple to do and it actually worked very well.
I just moved from siren to goblin (na) after watching the realm status for a few days. It was one of the few that seemed to stay low enough to create characters. Then I go to log in today and there were ques. Guess others had the same idea I did.
Launch day on Excalibur I had a queue of around 1200 but it cleared in less than 10 minutes, maybe closer to 5.
No, I'm on Balmung too and the queues on Crystal are only around 5 - 100 at almost every time. I come and go as I please no matter the time of day during this EA. I log in and out frequently as I take breaks. My Balmung queue today was 8...
Not that I'm saying other people can't suffer because of that, just shocked at the difference. I must have came in at a really really good time (or the crystal exodus was epic on scale lol). Would be ironic if people left because of queue fear just to cause a new queue issue XD.
The irony is quite funny. The people that moved to Crystal got freaked out they were on the same data center as Balmung and Mateus and left enmasse, only to cause themselves the problem they had long blamed on Balmung.
Same issue here. From Ragnarock, too, and I'm at 300 to 1200. Takes up to 25 minutes to get in. Last time I was even booted because it took too long (was at 250 from 1200). Sure feels crowded now.
On Gilgamesh I had queue of 27 this morning at like 8:00 PST. Left to do some errands and came back at 2:00 and there's a queue of 1100 which I still wouldn't say is that bad. I think this is probably the most solid, stable early access they've ever had.
