    Advantages to the Trusts:

    - They don't complain if you have to pause and go WC or take care of IRL stuff
    - They don't complain if you go into /gpose randomly
    - They know the mechanics and can teach you on the first time through
    - Make the game feel more like a classic offline Final Fantasy game

    Cons:

    - Slower DPS
    - Lack of socialization

For me, the pros definitely outweigh the cons for now.

How many people actually socialize in dungeons though? Its only a rarity as it is anyway, I know I spend most of my time talking to my fc over discord.

No issues with the system as Tank, save for the healer once dying to aoe or the dps not focusing down adds.

Though it does appear that they are incapable of spamming aoe which is unfortunate...

    • NPCs are getting stuck/don't do anything during mechanics in a boss fight, e.g. the 1st boss in the new dungeon: NPCs avoid the mechanics, the boss is in range of at least 2 of them, as they're both ranged, but both don't do anything until the boss stops doing mechanics, after which they start attacking again
    • According to the short info screen item drops in a Trust party are fewer + some enemies won't drop anything.
Why? As far as I can remember squadron command mission don't have such a limitation
I have run through many dungeons now with trusts. You don't have to go anywhere near the enemy for the tank to rush in so i don't know what you mean. It isn't designed to be the most efficient way to run the dungeon although if you are dps considering queue time you will clear a trust dungeon the same time any group runs it. You also get all the loot without a single roll which is great. I am not sure what game you are playing as I have had literally no issues whatsoever with the npcs. They stand in an AoE here and there but generally play better than a lot of players I have seen. Every chest is still in there when you run with trusts you just get 1 item from said chest as it goes right into your inventory.

Playing through the MSQ as a tank, the only issue I have with the Trust system is the NPCs perfectly emulating bad DPS and just hitting whatever they target first until it dies, regardless of what is in the pull.

At least they all hit the same target.

I did the level 73 dungeon with the trust on my first play through. A minion dropped and it felt good I had no competition to roll against to say the least. XD

I think I've seen a few occasions where they don't hit the same target...

It's been mentioned in an interview that the slowness is deliberate, so it isn't better than playing with a (decently-skilled) human party.

I've done the first two dungeons with trusts now, and I think they may be programmed to do mechanics better when you're doing them? Either that or I was so out of position for Lv71 second boss mechanics that it was confusing the AI...

I've also noticed they'll stack for a stack marker, but in the centre of the arena rather than moving towards you if you have it.

They're good for demonstrating some ideas and strategies though, like coming close to the Lv71 final boss when targeted for his trap attack, so they have less distance to run out of the AoE once they're freed.

Also, as a probably-mediocre summoner, I've been finding Topaz's shield ability very useful to survive some boss mechanics. I might not have thought of using that in a full party situation, but when it's all up to me, it makes me think more about what I could do better.

(Also, it was lovely to just be able to stop for a minute and admire the scenery in Dohn Mheg, or take a rest after I'd failed a boss battle a couple of times, or rearrange my hotbars.)
