Please Abolish Anima!

Key Points as to why it should be taken out ( if they havent already began to do that already).

- Takes away from the exploration
- Makes it easy to get to places thus making it easier to complete everything the MMO has to offer in a Short period of time.
- Home Points are a nice addition to the game

Yes, and other people have countered BILLIONS of times why anima is fine if you are smart about using it.

If some people want to take short cuts and cheat themselves out of what this game has to offer, that is their prerogative.

its fun to be herded like sheep instead of playing the way you personally enjoy?

i would rather play the way i personally enjoy - using anima (insta port) if I (or who i am grouped up with) is low on gametime and using my mount (time sink) if i (and who i am grouped up with) have plenty of gametime

but would I demand other players stop playing the way they enjoy when I already have the means to be able to play the way I enjoy?

by never using anima while solo and only grouping up with players like themselves who prefer to never use anima, of course...

if the OP can find NO ONE to group up with that prefers to never use anima, well then, the wants of the many outweigh the wants of the few =P

too bad you weren't. i hardly ever port anywhere and your excuse is parties won't wait on you. maybe it's just you they will not wait on because they do me quite frequently.

like i stated earlier in this thread i have completed every job quest and gotten all the job gear and am right at 90 anima. the difference is i ran everywhere because i want to. the only anima i have used is to port my party a few times from one dungeon to another.

running everywhere is fine the first few times you do it. it gets boring after a while though because the world is DEAD and nothing interesting happens in it anymore. if someone wants to port it is not bothering your game at all so why does it matter to you? once again before you use that same incorrect excuse i'm not forced to do it.

Fine as is, but maybe when (not if, WHEN ) they add new continents to explore they can keep the anima regeneration rate as is and halve your current anima when you decide to jump between them. This could promote the usage of airships, ferries, or w/e SE decides to add post 2.0 when future expansions give us new places to travel to.
