I really really wanted to like this class, but it has two glaring problems:

- It’s boring. In spite of the vast amount of buttons is has, it boils down to two combos, the second one supposedly being the ‘burst’ you’re rewarded with. However, this burst falls short of the of the other tanks’ like WAR and DRK, who feel like they’re really hitting hard with their satisfying visual and aural feedback during this phase. Gunbreaker’s Gnashing Fang combo is visually indistinguishable from its regular combo, making it feel unrewarding.

- It has too many buttons to comfortably play on controller. The aforementioned Gnashing Fang combo, used every 30 seconds, has four buttons and is incredibly awkward to set up on a PS4 controller. Ideally, you need to put multi-step combos on the face buttons so you can move while fighting, but that requires to put it on a separate hotbar, either pressing R1 and switching back every 30 seconds, or using the double-tap, and the frequency of this combo means this is a very painful, carpal tunnel-y design. The burst of WAR and DRK uses one or two buttons, yet for some reason they thought it’s a good idea to give GNB literal Dark Arts in Continuation, then make them use it three times in a combo, THEN switch to a normal combo.

These problems can fixed simply by:
- Making the Gnashing Fang combo more visually and aurally interesting and impactful. Fell Cleave and the new Delirium outburst feel amazing, this doesn’t.
- Making your primary combo turn to the Gnashing Fang combo on initial Continuation press or something so you don’t have to switch to another goddamn hotbar every couple of seconds.
- Alternatively, extend the Gnashing Fang combo to 60 seconds while making it more powerful. Make it do crits or something.
