Graphical glitch for certain Highlander male NPCs

Spotted a random NPC in Eulmore without a head (freaky, I know), and now I'm seeing the same problem with more prominent story NPCs. They're all Highlander males. I have no idea what's up. Hoping I won't need a full reinstall and this is just a glitch that needs patching??

ETA: I'm on Windows 10. My husband plays on PS4 and does not have this problem.

Hey there! I've only experienced this issue since I downloaded the patch for Shadowbringers. I haven't had this issue with player characters, only NPCs, and it's not limited to NPCs from the new areas/stories. I went back to Rhalgr's Reach to discover Arenvald is also missing his head.

I remember this happened to me once, many years ago.
Just had to re-install the game to fix it.

As others have suggested, you may want to update your graphics drivers and try a reinstall of the game if you haven't tried those already.

If you are still experiencing issues after that, can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
