    Proposed AST changes.

    While I do find the new card system boring, by far my biggest two issues are the Play bug, which is already being addressed, and seal generation "out of combat".

    If you throw a card on a party member who is in combat, that action puts you in combat. However, you do not get a seal because you were not already in combat yourself, which means you need to heal or attack before you can throw any cards. There is also an issue where you don't get seals if you throw a card just before a monster dies. Depending on server ticks, you may or may not get a seal.

    My proposed change is just to adjust the seal generation to include if your target initiates combat in the next 3s or was in combat in the last 3s.

    Why not just allow seal generation out of combat?
    Is the ability to preform a seal triplet to start the fight with a Divination, or align it with the furst burst window, that bad?

    They would also need to change it, so the gauge doesn't empty upon joining an instance as well, then. But yes, that would be ideal. I don't think they'd make that change as quickly as this though, so I just want something to improve the situation.

    That’s what I would want. It’s been the most annoying thing so far that’s made me want to not play ast for now.

    I don’t know if it’s been said somewhere but to me it seems like all this “in combat” stuff would only be there to make raiders happy. If that’s the case I couldn’t care less. I’d rather most of the player base having a better time working on things even out of combat instead of raiders feeling pressured to wait until they have full stacks of whatever before every fight attempt. Guaranteed no raider would be happy with that statement but these changes affect everyone just for the smaller group doing one content

    Also buff Celestial opposition. It's basically the same as whm assize but way less useful. Just compare them. Assize is on 45 sec CD and has 400 potency vs celestial opposition with 250~ n sect. / 100+ 300 in Regen d sect. On a 120 sec CD. More then twice as long cd without any other effect that while assize also does damage and restores mp.

    While I think the new CO is underwhelming and boring compared to its SB predecessor I don't think comparing actions in a vacuum is the right way to justify a buff. WHMs don't have Earthly Star, so Assize is their only form of burst ogcd aoe healing. AST's kit already has that niche covered with Star so if CO was as powerful as Assize that would be pretty broken.

    I think it's beyond underwhelming. Granted comparing skills without looking at the rest of the kit isn't good reason for a buff, it still drives home the point of how weak it really is. Haven't got to 80 and dunno how dual sect will effect it but at the most it'll only push out 780~ potency total on a 120 second cooldown but I'm pretty sure it'll only do 550~ potency total which isn't much higher then a rushed earthly star.

    Just relook at the wording, it might not even effect it at all so there might not even a reason for using it during neutral sect anyways.

    Simply revert it back to Stormblood AST and change Spire to be an in combat mobility buff or something since TP is gone. Make the 70-80 abilities more power versions of preexisting skills and I dont think anyone would complain.
    Same for SCH.
