As a beginner, I really like the idea of having anima, and using the teleport, etc. Saves me a lot of time, since I don't play all-day, only after work, maybe the weekends.
If anyone dislikes it, there is no need to use it. (First few posts already said this.)
omg I know, I am gonna post in it too becuase I love them!
Guys , the reason you can teleport others to places they have never been? Ever play FFxi with a buddy who didn't have a crag and you wanted to party? Took him 2 hours to get snuck invis to the crag so you could THEN start what you actually wanted to do?
It also cuases players to want to form friendships or transactions fir teleports, and it just saves time...
Honestly..I'd rather see them rejuvinate Anima at a faster rate when you're staying inside a private room. It would give people a reason to stay in the rooms more often than just the rested exp (for those of us who dont have anything else to level or dont intend to level anything else) or the cutscene replay. A simple rate increase, double the anima regen per tic than what it is now.
We've all discussed this in our shell, about limiting transport between crystals themselves, rather than openly used in the field. Fine, do that, remove the anima limitation altogether. But some people like not having to weave in and out of things trying to get to certain areas, such as Mor Dhona. Either way you look at it someone's going to have a point that they see as more valid than someone else's. SE isnt going to possibly pacify the entire community with this. Either A leave it alone and the people who are complaining will just continue to complain. Or change it and make life more difficult for everyone. But as they say, misery loves company. Thats all it really is, a group of players are unhappy for whatever reason and if they're unhappy with the system, then EVERYONE has to share their grief. Silliness.
Though I do expect Something to happen after Dalmund hits. Like a major interruption of aetheryte flow causing the teleport system to not work, for instance. And viola, back to casters teleporting we go. And then we can start shouting in cities with..
(Teleport) (Do you need it?) 1000 (Gil) (Please invite me.)
Boy that sounds familiar though, where have I seen that before..
If they won't just make it faster, that's a really plausible and intelligent idea.
A$$hole edit: Then the people who don't want anima can just avoid the "moghouse" and they won't "have" to get an xp bonus either.. huzzah!
Or..in a similiar train of thought. (though I dont personally like this idea in itself, but it could help solve an issue) render Anima regeneration null UNLESS you spend time in a private room/residence. If you're in the field, your anima simply wont regenerate, it pauses. Once you return to your Room, the clock begins again. Again granted at an increased rate than it is now because people would like to spend more time in the field than they would in their rooms. But no one should be playing 24/7 anyways.
