Why abolish? Almost every MMORPG has "flight paths" of some kind, the anima teleports are FFXIV's. They just need to rework the system like they've done or plan to do with everything else.

Me too, I was surprised when it was someone else. But of course more people will bring this up just after they wasted all their anima on job quests lol.

Anima is very useful for people who need to quickly get back to civilization (especially now with rested xp inns) or to meet up with a group quickly. Anyone who abuses anima won't have it for very long and those of us who want to explore the world without using it do so, so I fail to see the problem personally.

Yes, and other people have countered BILLIONS of times why anima is fine if you are smart about using it.

If some people want to take short cuts and cheat themselves out of what this game has to offer, that is their prerogative.
