Female GNB weapon drawn idle pose = Lightning's same pose from FF13.

That explains it then. I wish they'd keep them the same at the very least. I still envy female models for DRK's /cpose being a sword in the ground like a guard and the dragoon one for being such a powerful stance. I know the male ones are based on Cloud and Kain but meh...

After having Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim's Squall as a expectative, I can say that Gunbreaker is not that impactful as I expected.
Even the animations, you don't feel that the character is "struggling" to contain the gunblade's shockwave. You can see most of Squalls attacks (Not NT) the gunblade is thrown behind by the shockwave, and he uses that to turn and hit again in the other side. And every trigger you can hear the shockwave burst sound.
With Gunbreaker all I can hear is slash. Where's the burst? Where's the signature sound effect you can hear from afar "oh, there's a gunbreaker". I hope it gets updated soon.
After getting Fated Circle.. I can kinda see what people mean. I feel the rest of their kit is impactful enough still and feels more like a fluid motion of combos than heavy hitting explosions. I especially like the final hit of our main combo AND the final hit of the cartridge combo. Burst Strikes lil stab and explode feels nice too so... My only complaint would be that Fated Circle's Explosions aren't loud enough or heavy enough, or that it's slice is too similar to the other two AOE we have.
On another note... I feel like Rough Divide is odd too. the sound it makes is weird and the animation itself looks... strange? PLD gets a shield charge, WAR kinda just slams into them with the mid portion of their axe, DRK leaps and slams down with its sword, and GNB does this awkward looking side flip when I watch it in /gpose. The skill derives from the limit break Squall does of slicing a target in half by running the sword downward and then straight up through. Could we not have gotten something that looks more akin to us dashing with the sword held at an angle like our sprint animation and then slicing upward? Or at the very least not this weird side flip we have coupled with what sounds like an arcade game laser beam sound effect. I don't feel like I'm dashing when I use it, I feel like I warp to the target and I'm finishing my side cartwheel slash AT the target. I understand want for being able to weave this easier with it being so fast but the animation and sound paired with it, becomes bothersome.

I call it plink-kinght. First few levels the only thing I heard was *plink**plink**plink*. Now a good sound effect is FFXI's SAM. Hooboy that was an amazing *shink* effect, it really helped actually differentiate the job, but the GBR *plink* is almost comical. It's like a child playing instead of a badass elite unit to the royalty.
When you have lag, every action is an adventure.
Thanks, Squeenix!
Damn every single person in this thread that whined. Its horrifying now.
