What is this class design of Dancer?

I’m actually enjoying the class, it’s really fun and I love the weapon and animations. I also like that it’s a proc class. You don’t have to play it if you don’t want to.

I do wonder, will the RNG base of the class hurt it in the long run or cause it to be excluded in favor of non-rng classes? It might be fun, but will dependability be a concern?

With the amount of damage buff it gives to it's dance partner, and then the whole raid every 2 minutes? Unlikely the RNG procs will dampen peoples enthusiasm to bring it.

Edit: Also, you get all your procs for free every minute from Flourish.

Honestly I'm loving Dancer so far and I personally feel like it plays very smoothly. You don't have to like every job in the game. I know I don't.

Standard finish does not need 4 GCD's. Each step move takes 1 second. GCD is 2.5 seconds.

Standard finish is 1000 potency. Cascade is 200, Fountain is 250, using these 2 skills takes 5 seconds. Standard finish takes less time to cast than this and hits almost twice as hard.
