That must be terrible for their circadian rhythms!Well it's bright because it's meant to be (lets not mince words: the First has not had an actual night time in a century, so you think you have it bad? Spare a thought for the poor inhabitants of the First, most of them have probably never even seen a dark sky or night time before). So working as intended.
Really, if the glare is that bad reduce the brightness/adjust gamma settings on your monitor or the game in Config, as they're not going to change it (this is not an attack on you though so I'm really sorry if I came across that way. It's just the bright environments are by design - they're meant to be that way).
