Why is the beard not included?

I’m confused why the beard shown not only in the choice trailer but ALSO modeled on an actual character was not included in game. Why show us a new asset only to not include it?

I’m sure i can’t be the only one who was looking forward to it.

I was also really looking forward to adding it to one of my characters and was saddened not to see it available. Really hope it becomes available at some point.

iirc, Yoshi was actually asked about it and he didn't realise it was something players wanted, but said he would look into it. I too would love it, I like my beard option, but that stubble is nice and light, would also like a couple more beards, its a shame how they are not only locked to race, but also what face you have.

I have to agree; it is bad form to promote your game using a "sample" character with appearance options that players can't actually have.
