Unable to Obtain Character Data prevents character rename and log in

On my main, Alexander Blanc, the game always fails to obtain character data. This wasn't a problem earlier, as I could still log in fine, but since I've purchased a name change, I now need to rename my character before I can log in- and right clicking my character and choosing change name just acts like I've tried to log in again and displays the "need to change name" error prompt, and doesn't let me change my name or log in. So I am effectively unable to play the game on my main. My other characters on other servers' data load fine.

I've tried:

Relogging multiple times
Switching between data centers
Rebooting PC
Logging in from different PC

Nothing has worked

Fixed itself randomly one time after logging in. Server load related perhaps?

I am too stuck in this limbo, I ordered a name change, a couple days prior to Strombringers, but ended up in hospital before I could change it... So, now, I cannot access the name change to complete this action prior to logging in on character.. Is there a way to fix it?

Just keep trying, friends.
It should be obvious that if the server can't get your data, it can't change your data.
With early access, things like these happen. There's no fix but to try again.
