That's because you're a White Mage.

Between PoM/Thin Air and highest-potency DoT/Filler, you have way higher burst than SCH/AST.

For comparison, if you've got Dia, you're basically taking Biolysis and adding a 120 Potency initial hit to it that SCH doesn't have. And AST's Combust is worse but they at least get card damage buffs.

SCH solo play is basically HW Paladin: Nothing's going to kill you, but it's going to take forever.
