You are misreading it.
And I said in that post twice that I didn't like the fact that Scholar got hit with the boring bat. What dries up my sympathy pretty quickly is the fact that, every time Scholars get hit with the nerf bat in all the wrong places, Scholar mains have a collective stroke and start freaking out about WHM being better than them in any way, and it makes the claims that they don't want to be OP ring kinda hollow. Every expansion this happens. Don't worry, you'll get buffed up to the most overpowered job in the game within a month, and a large portion of the Scholar population will return to telling WHM fans to shut up and "It's not that bad", or (my personal favorite) "job balance will always make one job the best and one the worst, so you can't complain!" The groundhog day vibes are exhausting. This kind of attitude you're throwing about is incredibly counterproductive.
Yes, SCH has been the top dog for healing for years now, but that's not fault of the SCH players, it's fully on the devs. Throwing shade SCHs or finding amusement in the situation as a sort of "revenge" comeuppance is just asinine and petty, especially given how on these forums for years healers of all stripes, including SCHs, were pushing for WHM to get some love so they weren't left out so often.
If WHM was in such dire straits and it made you upset, you should be doubly so upset now that other classes are in similar positions - not gleeful or vindictive - because it shows that the dev team hasn't learned from their mistakes and is content to let others wallow about in the same "snooze zone." If you're truly upset about where WHM was, you shouldn't want anyone to be in that zone.
Again, I'm not so much laughing at the plight of Scholar as I am rolling my eyes at players of the dev-designated OP job squawking about "Holy is better than my AOE, NERF it". It tells me that there are a bunch of Scholars who are a little too used to just being better at everything.
I have not seen scholars complaining about potency. I don't really care about the potency of my attacks, I just want an interesting rotation. They could nerf our potencies by 50% but I would still play it if we could get our tools from SB and HW back. And I said in that post twice that I didn't like the fact that Scholar got hit with the boring bat. Amazing.
The many posts of, "If you don't like the changes, then stop playing" and "I don't see anything wrong, don't change it, you guys are overreacting" written in many different ways to state as such is hilariously interesting. They support the game and its changes to survive yet they'd rather just make people leave to reduce this -very- social MMOs population, which it needs to function properly. Please explain.
Moving on, There is nothing wrong with loving the state of the class, its changes and its now inherent healbot-like state. But some people don't find the changes fun. The main issue is that people find the class BORING. In business perspectives, do you honestly think newer players would enjoy this experience you have right now?
If SE truly wanted SCH to be healbot, then at least make the class fun to play as a healbot in and beyond the casual setting. Change is scary sure, but maybe remove the new questionable design choices that stopped making SCH feel like they had "flow" in gameplay. Because right now, playing a SCH is like periods of hard stops and "???ok time to heal i guess?".
Uh, huh? That’s...exactly what I said...we can do the majority of healing with our oGCDs but we have less to fill the downtime. I don’t understand what this has to do with pressure, since I already said that healing is still very easy outside of when the tank occasionally pulls everything, and even then you can probably get by without Physick, especially with Recitation and AdloquiumYou just aren't familliar with pressure it sounds like, you can still heal using just OGCD's it's just a lot less dynamic in general, fairy QoL changes are nice but despite this she is so much less involved so far from what I've played. It has a lot of potential with growth, but right now its hollow.

I was addressing the big pulls you were referring to, if you have aetherflow you can weave between art of war. same with pet actions it comes down to how good the dps are as well.Uh, huh? I've already seen several posts in this forum directly saying "WHM feels overpowered", "their MP management is too good and needs to be brought down", and "how is it fair that Holy is so obviously better than Art of War, something needs to be balanced here"
There's always a SCH/AST contingent whining about WHM's potencies. It's like they conveniently can't remember that their oGCD kits are in general more efficient, or that they have that tiny advantage called actual utility.
Fun buffs yes. Strength buffs without a commensurate increase to WHM? Not if I have anything to say about it.
Leave WHM alone lolI've already seen several posts in this forum directly saying "WHM feels overpowered", "their MP management is too good and needs to be brought down", and "how is it fair that Holy is so obviously better than Art of War, something needs to be balanced here"

Instead of asking for other jobs to be nerfed/ruined, ask the devs to fix SCH.
a lot of ex trial solo healing going on. I called it. (btw wait until you get there you won't know what to do with your stacks.) I'm going to make a thorough post regarding the state and changes needed for sch once I reach max ilvl
