These wow refugees that come here and start these type of threads. Please go back to wow. No one wants you here.
It was several plot points in FFXI. Dynamis, Shadowreign ([S]) era, Abyssea, to name a few.But as others stated, WoW didn't invent alternate timelines/worlds. Hell I think that was a plot point in FFXI.
SE loves this stuff.
I got Ultima Online Vipes cuz WOW is not the Point vs. everything only Just for "Young" Players
Only getting WoW vibes from the toxic replies in this forum at times
How to Use There, Their and They're:
*Use there when referring to a place
*Use their to indicate possession
*They're is a contraction of the words they and are
*Ur is an ancient city-state in Mesopotamia, not a word
There's yet another alternate dimension in XI too called Abyssea, which is a straight up parallel world. In that world, reality splintered because your party died during the end of the 2nd expansion (Chains of Promathia) so instead of you defeating the Big Bad, the calamity happened and the very fabric of reality started to get eaten away by the Emptiness.
So your world's version of the self has to dimension hop to that dimension and do it again, but stronger (level 99 instead of level 75) so you can kill the Big Bad properly this time. (And the Big Bad got worse because he ate one of your party members who contained an avatar and is now Bigger and badder.... yeah. oops.)
