    HoH HP Reduction?

    Is there a reason why I have a good 10,000 HP less in Heaven on High? I’ve been doing a lot of soloing, and on average, RDM used to have 39k health. Attempted to do a run just now and I’m at 28000 instead. Is this some sort of oversight or bug? I thought stats were completely independent in Deep Dungeons. Enemies are doing the exact same damage as they were before.

    Is there a way that this can be undone? Soloing is difficult as it is, and having 25% less health might just make it impossible, especially for non RDM jobs.

    You've probably already done this, but I have to ask just to be certain...

    Your HP is directly tied to your armor level, if I recall correctly. Have you spent any of those levels, perhaps for a DNC/GNB weapon by chance?

    I haven't personally been into HoH since patch, so I dunno. Just throwing an idea out there.

    My stats are 99/99. I say this as someone whom was very close to actually clearing it solo. I've made it to floor 94 and have been in the 90s several times.

    51+ you had 37k/39k food. Now its 28k/29k. That's a good 25% reduction. It's a very big deal considering regular enemies can hit you for 18-24k normally, which means a critical hit will one shot you.

    This makes some enemies impossible to solo, especially 91-100. You already needed steel for nearly everything, and that's with 40k HP. And what you can solo (with steel) you will spend MUCH more time healing to make sure you don't die. That consumes time. Time was already extremely short, which means that either you will die without buffs or lose to time. You only have 3 steels, and you're not going to have it up 100% of the time. Not from 71-100

    I just really, really hope that this is an oversight.

    I am almost certain the reason behind this is the fact that we have more VIT on accessories so that each point is worth less HP for healer and dps roles. Since HoH is using a fixed status template which has the same amount of VIT as 4.x, that means less HP. The same applies to strength on tank role, which deals less damage now than 4.x. I hope they can fix these soon.

    Can confirm. This also happened to me in PotD as I'm trying to solo it on a red mage. I was at around 15.5k hp, now I'm at around 12.5k hp (without food buffs). Yiikes.

    Your HP is tied to the Vitality stat on your gear. In the deep dungeons your gear doesn't matter, so the Vitality is instead set to a fixed number wich is invisible for us.

    They did change the Vitality formula for Shadowbringers. I was curious so I took off all my accessories and I noticed I had about 10k less HP than before ShB came out when accessories didn't have Vit. Used to have around 49k, now my level 70 has around 39k. I think the negative effect this had on deep dungeon was unplanned, so hopefully they will correct for it in a later patch.

    people already got to floor 100 solo since patch, so its probably doable with some classes

    ye 100 is possible with every class, but that's not the issue. 200 is the issue.
    Some mobs autoattack you with 10k or crit with 15k or even more on later potd floors, even with steel the combination of a skillbuster+autoattack will 1 shot you then. They have to revert the changes or decrease the incoming damage overall.
    There is a bug report in accepted bugs, so lets hope. Removing slow and bind from redmage already made it a tiny bit harder.
