"An Unexpected Error Has Occured"

Been playing fine all day so far, barring the apparent DDOSing earlier, but suddenly after I went to go do a Gunbreaker Job Quest, and while in Ul Dah I've started getting this error at random.



i have no idea what could have changed to suddenly cause these errors to start happening when I have yet to run into them before now, at ANY point. Any help here?

Edit: Well, it seems to've stopped of it's own accord, but I'm still curious as to why it might've started happening, and things that could be done about it.

The error can be caused by a variety of reasons. If it does happen again, please update the drivers and make sure any overlays are disabled. You could also try doing a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. For Windows.
