Level caps and Class quests.
Level caps should be imposed so you have to do guild quests. Its rediculous that I don't have any clue about my class's story but can max it to 50 right away. The guild should be a place where you can learn about your class better. Upon reaching a cap, the guild's linkpearl should notify you of a quest. My main point is that you don't want people to grind to 50 without ever having quested, it defeats the purpose of adventure. THESE QUESTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE SOLOABLE.
Sidequests:
Sidequests are too out of the way, add some as subsections to storyline
or make them easer accessable. Side quests also need to give more armor. As well as the occasional dyed versions of armor. The large map (not just the minimap) should show the locations of these npcs. OR these types of quest NPCs should be grouped in the adventurers guild in town, and places like hamlets and aetheryte camps. If an NPC gives a quest and they are not commonly found at those locations, make them part of the quest chain so you have a reason to go out of your way.
Low Level gear:
Low level gear is useless. Why is the drop rate of Plundered gear so low? New players want to get the gear but no body wants to spend a long time trying for it, as a raid is made for getting new special gear and fighting bosses. Also, NPCs in guilds sell low gear for way too much, new players could never afford it and thats usually the main desire is to have new gear. (Although im not sure if 1.21 reduced any of thoses prices) Crafting is a great alternative but nobody wants to be forced to do it. It would take player action but people really need to start selling the things they craft on MW cuz there is nothing there (at least in terms of armor.) DEAR PLAYERS, CRAFTING A CRAPLOAD OF LOW LEVEL ITEMS MAKES GOOD MONEY AND SELLS QUICK. There is also the matter of reselling gear. Due to soulbond or gear condition, some items cannot be solo back on the mw or traded. WHY? I have a ton of materia from conversion but thats all I could do with my old equipment rather than selling it off to a player who needs it. Materia is taking too much armor out of the equation.
NPC party members.
Just please make the AI better, I'm sure you will.
