    I read a lot of posts about people wanting a WHM buff to go alongside how SCH/AST have them. Fluid Aura is long overdue for an actual useful change and so, in my opinion, it should be just that. A castable Aura with perhaps a duration that possibly provides a damage reduction buff to members within so many yalms. Perhaps it could more related to its name and it’s original effect of adding refresh, but instead of refresh it would increase cast speed for casters and decrease weaponskil recast for all others.

    You know I've thought about this, and honestly, I think S-E should just bite the bullet and let healers buff. It seems they want WHM to be the "heal-specialist" class, but all three healers originally had tools for role swap built in, so just bring them back.

    When AST was introduced it came with Diurnal and Noct stances which let it play like a WHM one way and a SCH the other, with its core set as a buff-healer. That's fun, so keep that, and don't be afraid to let card buffs be meaningful. In turn, bring back Selene as a buff fairy, and let Selene buff with haste and damage plus effects. This would make Eos the WHM regen fairy, and Selene the AST buff fairy. Both classes have had this role-switch option since conception, so just bring it back and run with it.

    So what about WHM? Well, it used to have a role-swap as well. and it was called Cleric Stance. Bring that back, but instead of being a "DPS mode", make it role-switch. Keep the longer cooldown so that when you use the ability it locks you into it for a few seconds, but make it so that any spell that would normally apply a regen effect instead applies a Haste effect instead, with hastes overwriting regens and vice-versa to give weight to your decision. Haste has long been a White Magic staple spell, so let them make a decision to switch between a regen healer or a buff healer depending on the situation. If you tie it to something like Cleric Stance then it becomes more restrictive than SCH fairy swap due to its cooldown, but without the fairy mana cost, and it gives parties a lot more options.

    I feel the mistake was never that AST and SCH were too powerful, but that WHM not having buff abilities of its own made buffs on other classes too desirable. So just bring back some history and make the issue about balancing buffs, rather than trying to balance buff-classes with a pure-heal.

    Not sure if this is asking too much, but Afflatus spells are kind of clunky to use as GCD. Wish they were oGCD like SCH.

    I don’t really understand why people dislike the lily system short of starting encounters without any.

    Afflatus skills are great. Just consider them to be 225 potency dps skills (because that’s essentially what they are) and use them as a weaving tool to weave your ogcd heals/assize. Or use them while in movement, think of them as a sch ruin II. Who cares if they overheal. And it’s a dps gain if you double weave on a single one out of the 3, cast misery on more than one add, or cast it during a buff window. Otherwise it’s dps neutral and you get some healing out of it (assuming you use it properly)

    What I would like to see for white mage is:

    1. Make all afflatus actions OGCD. This would allow us to weave in healing between dpsing, making dpsing smoother and less nerve-wracking.

    2. Add a new afflatus dps skill that nourishes the blood lily. There have been many times where I am sitting on top of 3 lilies, but I do not need to cast afflatus solace or afflatus rapture. Giving white mage a dps afflatus skill would help us nourish the blood lily without having to overheal and waste an action.

    3. Give us back Aero 3. Maybe change the visuals and call it Dia 2 or Diaga if you want to maintain the same theme. As long as we have an aoe dot. But keep the same casting animation as Aero 3 because that animation was cool.

    With these three things I would be pretty happy.

    Other changes aside, PVP Divine Benison is a great direction to take for Lily growth. If you Benison the target, and the shield is broken, you get a Lily. That gives us a method of gaining lilies faster early-combat, and doesnt completely invalidate the 30s timer.

    A lower level Blood Lily spell (and system) - make it Aero III or something. I wouldn't mind if the lily spells where ogcd, but would prefer something to spend the lilies on when healing is not needed.

    If not damage or a better debuff, maybe Fluid Aura could function like Thin Air, but only castable on party members. It could even share a cd with Thin Air. WHM's doesn't really have MP problems, might be nice to help others who do.

    Might be silly, but could Asylum be made of water instead of light? Just to keep some of the elemental theme going.

    As a main job WHM from the start, these are my personal wishes, and some definitely match yours. Adding my own opinions below in case they resonate with anyone.

    1. Give me my Aero III back. It was so useful AND had a cool animation. I feel like me taking 2 seconds to put a DoT on a mob and then go back to healing as needed doesn't even conflict with this new "no DPSing for healers" idea. Let me have one AoE DoT. 2 seconds for DoT DPS won't kill anyone; trust me, I'd know.

    2. Holy feels flashy in an obnoxious way with both the blinding animation and sound and yet it's underwhelming. For something that LOOKS that impressive, I'd expect like some crazy (*for a healer) damage or something, but no. It just does a baby sliver of damage, once, after taking 2 seconds to cast. So, they want me to repeatedly spend time casting and recasting this, time that I cannot spend healing anyone...because I am casting. Best part about Holy is the stun. I wish it was just a stun.

    3. I am okay with the blood lily thing. I've tried it out, and it's just fine. No complaints.

    4. Please don't cap my MP. There are certain very special tanks out there who like to plow through dungeons at lightspeed like their lives depend on it (or maybe they just really have to pee?), never letting my MP regen, and when I get to heal these very special tanks, I need every last drop of that MP I can get.

    5. That being said, making piety do MP regen just feels weird. There seem to be a lot of conflicting things happening here with MP. MP gets capped, lucid dreaming nerfed (or is this all in my head?) and yet they want us to have MP regen. It feels like breaking an already functional system to make another that isn't really any better. Kinda confused. Can we leave my MP alone, please? It feels personally attacked.

    6. Solo instances with DPS checks/required DPSing are pretty miserable now.
