    I miss the casting animation from Aero 3 (I wanna spin my staff again!). That's about it. I don't really have any major complaints about WHM. Tetra feels a bit redundant given Solace. Wouldn't mind seeing that be made into something else...maybe an interesting cd that interacts with Lilies in some way. Like pop Tetra and our next Solace or Rapture applies a shield instead of healing.

    It does three things: AOE heal, AOE damage, and self MP recovery. Those are three awesome things.     Assize's design purpose, and most of the HW WHM/SCH changes for that matter, were simple in concept. It was given to normalize WHM with SCH by putting some of the unique SCH benefits into a fun, single package with a longer cooldown to keep it from being class-defining. The mana return is like SCH's aetherflow (originally the same amount, even), the ogcd AoE heal is like Indomitability with twice the cooldown timer but no AF stack requirement, and the instant AoE damage is an extra direct-applied damage to shore up DPS options . SCH saw the same sort of design with new AoE healing abilities, as that had been the class's major weakness in ARR, with Emergency Tactics turning Succor into Medica but on a 30 second cooldown, and Dissipation which killed the fairy and turned the SCH into a divine veiled WHM for 30 seconds.

    When Assize was designed, the idea was to bring healers together by giving each a little bit of the other. That's no longer the design goal, and I really wouldn't expect positive alterations to Assize given the current state of things.

    Oh I fully expect nerfs. With the tanks whinging that WHM does more damage than them, which Must Not Happen because Healers Must Be Weaker Than Tanks Or The World Ends (tm), and some AST/SCH whining for WHM nerfs because WHM being strong (but still keeping most of the function holes in its kit) is somehow to blame for the bizarre design direction this expansion, I can't wait for my favorite job to rot in dead last where it "belongs" for two more years. I'll at least be watching the fallout from a RDM vantage point this time.

    Aero 3 won't be coming back, given the design team's move to more light based/holy based attacks so I say give us Diaga, then. Give WHM raid utility in the form of Bravery & Faith. Aside from that, I'm happy with how WHM is playing so far, with the exception of the afflatus abilities feeling... weird due to their being on the GCD.

    I'm pretty sure no one is asking for WHM nerfs, because everything is already so much closer to the minimalist baseline than it was. People want their stuff back; they want to be kings of a nation, not rulers of a garbage scow. That said, the pessimist in me suspects nerfing is exactly what they'll do, because it's the most uncreative solution and that seems to be the road they're walking.

    Believe me, they are. Everyone knows WHM cannot be capable of anything SCH/AST can't do, and they can be at most equal in any respect, but never greater. Despite WHM not really being 'buffed' this expansion, but remaining as static as it has been for ages, nerfs are likely incoming. Never fear, SE will see to it that SCH maintains their crown as King of the Healing Nation.

    Well ,then can just upgrade aero 3 to some holy stuff and keep casting animation

    Or find a way to replace Glare's animation inherited from Stone IV, which looks like we're getting gut-punched every time we cast. Actually the staff-spinny one from Aero III might look cool with it, given the way the orbs of light move on Glare's animation.

    Truthfully I want Aero III back as well, I dont understand it's removal, being able to DoT a pack of mobs is alot better than individually and less time wasted, As for Fluid Aura, it's a redundant ability at this point it should just be changed to Water with a debuff effect like a DoT or attack down effect even as currently Water is the ONLY element of the 6 that's basically uncastable by any PC right now.
