I'd like the regen on medica 2 changed back. The shorter duration makes it feel kinda pointless to have regen at all.
fluid aura should be an interrupt, not bind. they could ad a 50 potency to it. anything but bind.
Afflatus is great the way it is. if it was ogcd whm would be too good. it already has many ogcd heals.
Aero 3 should deff be added back. if they did that I would be happy with how Holy is potency and MP cost.
I would love to see Aero 3 come back as well as Stoneskin/Protect. After having an NPC cast that on me during a solo trial it reminded me how disappointed it was to see Stoenskin go. Sure, Divine Benison is superior, but why can't we have Stoneskin around still? I enjoy having things to do before a battle rather than wait awkwardly as my teammates soon realize that Protect is gone. It would also be nice if we could have back some sort of enmity reduction, like with Shroud of Saints/Lucid Dreaming before. It felt incredibly awful during the Titania fight to die during the add phase simply due to my tanks not staying on top of the enmity list for all three of them and being able to do absolutely nothing to reduce the hate I was garnering as a healer.
With all of the GCD healing tools WHM has, i'd like to see them go all the way and make a GCD based healer, who doesn't mind dropping GCD heals due to having damage dealing oGCD actions.
For example, we keep Stone and Aero as spells, but still get Dia and Glare as 20-30 second 3 charge oCGDs. Misery is now oGCD. In exchange, Tetra is removed, or maybe changed to a singe-target version of old or new Plenary. Fluid Aura deals damage again. Stuff like that.
I love Assize. It's a great, fun ability that feels awesome when you use it. That said, it has a touch of awkward design.
It does three things: AOE heal, AOE damage, and self MP recovery. Those are three awesome things. However, two of these three functions encourage you to use it whenever possible, and the third (heal) encourages you to sit on it until you need to use it. The two non-healing functions are strong enough that it's better to just use it on cooldown and GCD heal afterward than it is to sit on it for more than a few seconds. This functionally makes it unreliable as a healing ability.
Putting it on the two charge system would fix this almost completely. I can see balance concerns since it would allow a double Assize on an opener, but outside that it would function the same way, except you could sit on its timer for its healing side without losing out on its damage or effect on MP economy. Maybe disallow building the second charge outside combat?
I'd only want Aero III back if it was instant and could be cast on the move. Having to slow down from the frenetic pace in dungeons now where I'm constantly active either maintaining heals against ongoing damage or tossing them out around doing fast-paced mechanics would not be desirable for me. I'm starting to resent when I have to hold still and cast a Cure series spell now.
Please bring Aero III back. Pretty please... That was one of the WHM's most fun spells! And you take it away from us. Shame...
