I went with voice 2 and while it isn't too bad in combat it doesn't really fit DNC. ._. I will try alts now with the voices to see if any other fits better, if not will just stay with 2.

Not really convinced by almost all of them. 9 sounds fine emote wise but has an almost equally awful battle sound. Will probably go either 1 or 2.

I picked voice 10 myself, I like all the sounds I've heard in the first day so far.

All the attack voices sound honestly terrible. and it doesn't match the rest of the voice. Like they forgot to add the battle voice and had to quickly add it in.

It's not just that. Voices are inconsistent even within just emotes. There are so many voices that sound somewhat neutral most of the time and then they have super cutsy high pitches "yes" and very low angry amazon woman like "furious" at the same time. One of the voices I've tested had an angry "huh" and shocked sound for "happy". "Angry" doesn't have any mouth movement, yet, for a lot of voices we hear a scream.

It's as if they recorded a bunch of lines and then just applied them to different voices using random generator.

The fact that they officially acknowledged this at all is hilarious to me. While they're at it, they really should re-record all of the Viera voices as they all sound pretty lackluster imho. I think my alt is voice 4 and the delay on that after attacking is really grinding my gears!
