I have been mining . botany etc. for days now (lvl 2-3 4)
not once have any of the abilities activated , and not once have i seen fingerprint of the gods since i have it .. but twice ( before the patch)
Seems now not even your set abilities don't even work anymore.
This doesnt seem right if your mining for hours .. that not even favor, vision etc. will kick in

I haven't had this problem... First make sure your ability is equipped. Then be sure that you're in the right area for Fingerprints to Proc. Fingerprints only works in certain areas.

I havent' gathered much over the weekend, but I'll try again. Maybe something changed.

I know how it works .. and i did
I forgot to notice it happens around limsa . seems the other areas it works at least black shroud it works.
dont know about the other area , but i seem except for stroke of luck , never get any ability around limsa.
i will try again a day or so and see if its me

Fingerprints only works in certain areas in certain regions

such as botony, works in hala, which means mining/fishing will not proc there for fingerprints and so on

the abilities are still working, your just not int he correct area for fingers prints

as for any other ability i have no idea


make sure you are in the area fingerprints is set for, for that specific class, if you are not, then of course it will not work(go back a few patches and theres a list of what is where)
