no issues prior to early release, now dx11 errors

This is a fix that worked for me so far. Connect the laptop to an external monitor (or in my case, my TV), and just have it duplicate. Then launch the game in DX11. Once the game comes up, then just unplug the HDMI.

This actually worked for me, since I use a secondary monitor with a much lower refresh rate. (Got it on discount, who knew it would be THIS useful!) I usually only use it for Discord and browsing for information while playing, but now I have it set to be my default and the game runs fine even in DirectX 11 mode.

It's a nice bandaid fix for now, but SE really needs to think about rolling back the changes for the FPS lock. It is causing more problems than it was intended. Whatever the reasons for its implementation, there has to be another way.

Cause for alot of other people and their rigs, this isn't it.
