I don't know if I can even change the refresh rate in my Nvidia Control Panel, because whenever I try to open it I get this:
Despite it working at least two days ago and I can still clearly see I have a working Nvidia GPU. Something fishy is afoot.

Creating a custom Nvidia Control Panel resolution setting capping FPS at 90hz fixed it for me.
Guess this will have to do for now, thanks!
For those of us that use laptops with integrated graphics cards as well as Nvidia ones, we can't alter the refresh rate in the Nvidia Control Panel. I was able to find the refresh rate setting in the 'Intel Graphics Command Center', but 120 is my only option. Nowhere on my computer am I able to lower the refresh rate.

I was hype For Shadowbringers and now this.![]()
Having the same issue with my lappy, which cannot go lower than 120hz
Those with Screen resolution and video resolution changing are most probably on PC.

I have the same issue. I literally cannot change the 144Hz refresh on my laptop (NVIDIA Control Panel lets me Adjust image settings with preview, Manage 3D settings, and Configure Surround, PhyX). Poking around everywhere I can think of, I only see 144Hz coming out from the drop down menus. Guess I'm hosed.
Screenshots? I don't have that and saying it's doable doesn't show anyone how. Others have said "go into your Nvidia settings and then display" and immediately that's not possible for most of us. In the Control Panel it just shows 3D settings, and there's no display or refresh rate options.
Square-Enix: please just undo the frame rate cap in your hotfix. It was a poor decision even before it broke the game for everyone with a high refresh rate monitor.

I'm having the same exact error issues as shown in the first post on this thread. We spent good money to play early access and now are unable to !!
Same :/ no option except the 144Hz in all relevant dropdowns.I have the same issue.
