Yes, I've been doing this for a few days now because it's the only way to make it run correctly while using DX11. Which makes me wonder how it still runs perfectly after launching despite using DX11 on a high refresh rate monitor afterwards.I had this same issue, after clicking play I would get a dx11 error in Japanese. I followed every guide on here and nothing worked. I finally plugged my laptop into a cheap tv I have with an HDMI cord, signed into launcher - loaded game and once i got to my character selection screen I unplugged the HDMI and game works until the next time I close client.
This works, and I hope it works for others until SE actually decides to fix it.
