Miracle of miracles I can play again post-patch. I hope for people having the same problem that this gets cleared up for them as well, but I am so happy I can see my game in all its glory again *hugs the screen*.

Ironically enough, it wasn't until after this hotfix patch that I'm not getting DirectX errors, and not just with 11. I'm getting the same type of slightly varied error in both DX11 and DX9 now. Prior to the hotfix I was perfectly fine.
This is slightly aggravating.
Sooooooooo today's patch broke the game again for me...
I was able to play without any crash for the last 3 days, and now it just crash less than 2 minutes into the game.
I had a lot of crashes when the Expansion patch was applied at first, apparently due to the fact that I had set my monitor refresh rate to 60hz (because that's basically the only way I could play without crashing every 30 secondes, and I still had crashes).
After the expansion patch, I reverted my UW monitor back to it's standard 100hz refresh rate, and set the FPS limiter to 90. After today's patch I get crashes again, despite having tried to remove the limiter, or setting it to 100fps, which is my monitor standard refresh rate.
That is really REALLY annoying :/
Well, didn't work for me too. Was so hyped because of finally play the game, and after 5 minutes, crashes with DX11 errors and returns to desktop. No time to screenshot the error. I'm so disappointed. I love FFXIV and i can't play it at all, so frustrating !
Edit : New try just one or two minutes ago, here the error :
Maybe i'll point something useless but well, it's odd for me : tha date on the error window, is not correct, is that normal ?

2019-06-29, 2019-06-21 or 2019-06-02, it seems there's a two-day difference between current day and the one on the window error, that's why it's odd for me.
(Happy 4th of July (Independance day) for US players !)
I don't know if the incorrect date has an impact or not. But for now, i just want to play so i try to find any detail that can help to fix that.
Edit : Another try, interacting with my servants, i was able to transfer items and the game crashes in the middle of a transfer : no warning, no error. But i noticed a weird sound when calling my servant, like a faint crackling noise... ah.. maybe i'm now too paranoid and try to find a glitch somewhere to just fix that ... sorry.
I wish I could get a refund for both Shadowbringers expansion and subscription fee...
This is just a joke.
What is even more frustrating is that I can't even test solutions because after I get dc'ed I have to wait 1000 ppl queue again and again without any priority.
So, in conclusion, I can't play the game, I ain't gonna have my money back and I ain't gonna have a compensation for this never ending nightmare.

Same here. Didn't had any problems but since patch last week the game is nearly unplayable.
Same thing since launch. Did they even do anything?
This is really annoying.
Edit: I'm guessing the FPS cap was only one facet of the issue.
