Question about Divine Veil

So I need some clarification on part of the tool tip of divine veil.

When it says "Effect ends upon additional HP recovery via healing magic" does that mean that, once I cast it, and a heal procs it, if I or my party receive ANOTHER heal before the shield has time to block dmg that it just disappears and the party does not get the benefit of it?

It means the effect of Divine Veil, the effect that you apply to yourself when you activate the ability, ends when you are healed. If being healed is what causes your buff to end, the rest of the party within range are granted the shield.

Shield is not divine veil effect.

The "Effect ends upon additional HP recovery via healing magic" refers to the proc part, not the barrier part. The party barriers stay regardless of additional heals received.

It's sadly still the worst of all the tanks. Not only do you need external help (or wasting damage to proc it yourself with clemency) but it also has to be a spell not an ability for it to proc, in a world where a lot of the healing healers do are abilities and not spells.

Because of this what will usually happen when you put it up for an upcoming aoe is 1 of 2 things.

1) It will only proc when the healers are healing the party back up after the aoe has already hit you and then it will sit on everyone as noone is taking any damage.

2) It won't get triggered at all and will just expire.

I still don't know why they didn't fix this but oh well.
