Something I keep remembering-and-forgetting to post about Varis...

Back in 4.5 we were theorising about him possibly being possessed by Emet, especially in the second half of the meeting. During that scene when we start to press him about the Ascians, he exclaims something like "now you're starting to ask the right questions!".... and then Emet himself says the same thing or close to it, I think when we were looking at the murals.

Someone also suggested at some point that from the previous zodiac associations, Emet is linked with Gemini and there might be potentially two of him?

But then that doesn't really seem to tie in with how it ended.

Like father like son? Or grandfather cant remember if solus was varis' father or grandfather.... basically I'm seeing it as the nut dont fall far from the tree type of deal

Edit: just double checked the lore book Varis is Emet's grandson sooo yeah. It also says his favors emet a lot as well. Though through looks I cant see it... personality wise... yeah

Regarding the warriors of light threat, I believe elidibus will use Unukalhai. I suspect he will somehow merge the remaining shards of our soul into Unukalhai and then somehow have him challenge us. That will of course backfire and ultimately lead to us becoming fully complete with all 14 shards back together.

Of course I'm probably completely wrong but that's what I expect atm

Like i said in a previous post, i think that all the remaining survivors of the Thirteenth (like Unukalhai or
    Cylva
) are all "Hydaelyn's Chosen" aka potential "Warriors of Light that are now mainly servitor of Elidibus since he is the one who saved them, and i think he will use them against us
Like Emet-Slech used Cylva against Ardbert and the other.

Elidibus is throwing things at the wall to see what sticks, and it happens to be that his favorite thing to throw at the wall is "other people that may possibly correct the mistake for me, including Zenos." A way to mitigate how repeaty this is would be to have him actively participate in the story in some manner instead of just hanging out on the moon and teleporting in to drop mysterious one-liners especially since we really don't know much about him. Him fighting to keep the plan on-course and perhaps interacting directly with us would make things pretty interesting.
Elidibus is the last unbroken Ascian, which means it's the end of the organization if he dies. Considering the WoL + Scions have now managed to kill 3 Paragons, one being as powerful as Hades was, him taking the field at this point would be the stupidest move he could make.

Unless he finds a reason worth forcing Unukulhai to fight us i doubt it,if im not wrong Unukulhai didnt really like Elidibus much to begin with,Cylva is also not going to do it since we spared her life etc.

Honestly i dont know whats going to happen anymore xDD mind you theres probably more WoLs on the remaining Shards so we will see some new faces maybe

Unukalhai helps us out because Elidibus told him too. If anything, Unukalhi is grateful to Elidibus for getting him out of the 1st Shard before the Flood of Darkness finished, and even goes so far as to call Elidibus his "Master". From the sound of it, both Unukalhi and Cylva really don't want a Flood to happen anywhere else, and it is exactly that desire that Elidibus and the Ascians use to manipulate both of them.

I would not be surprised if there are more potential Echo-users from the 1st Shard that feel indebted to Elidibus for saving them and are willing to do whatever he asks them to do to pay him back. He did save them from turning into Voidsent...

I don't mean actually fighting, I mean constantly and consistently interacting with the people he's going to be siccing on the WoL to keep up the front in the face of everything that says "no, WoL/D is a good person" instead of just pointing, saying "hey that person needs to be dead" and leaving to watch from afar. Changing up his usual MO of casually waiting (especially since he's frantically trying to make things work) would be a nice shake-up. His talent has always been manipulation and scheming and it'd be nice to see it in action and in detail, we all saw him get kicked halfway across the battlefield the last time he tried to actually fight and I don't think he'd attempt to do so again all things considered.

I was wondering..if several worlds rejoined with the source, how come there is no change on the source to the people there? They said they lost their immortality iirc because the worlds all split. Is that a plot loop or did I misunderstand?

Also I loved Shadowbringers..by far the best expansion yet. FINALLY explained stuff from 1.x that I have been wondering since 2011! I hope the next expac is good. Also not a fan of Zenos...I hope he isn't the next main villain. Never thought I'd dislike a villain more then Albedo but here we are.

    Just some questions and thoughts

Great analysis. Another good example of antagonist not able to let go is Edda. On the other hand, Ysayle and Einstein's decision to let go their past obsessions are eventually what elevated them into heroes.
