If you healer sucks to play in SHB what is your backup plan?

After feeling optimistic and realising my delusion at the next iteration of SCH I took the decision to look at alternatives. I tried RDM and SMN and I have to say SMN was enjoyable and I do get that is changing also.

It feels like I am sort of close to my SCH

Honestly, even if I don't particularly approve of the changes, progression raiding come Eden Savage should still be massively enjoyable. Fingers crossed my group and I manage to find a co healer I can gel with <3

I main WHM, Im used to being unfun and subpar.
Sure, I was hoping for some nice things, like a 1-2 combo, but I'll just carry on.
For WHM Stormblood was the real problem.

If Scholar is as bad as I'm expecting, I'll just stick to my original plan of going Gunbreaker till 80 then Dancer.

Dancer. They took away healers support and gave it to them.

Dancer for me, but that's because XIV healing design has been pretty bad for ages now (ever since HW really) and I was planning on maining that anyway unless something REALLY positive came out about healers and general healing focus in this game.

I am really disappointed in the direction they took with AST but I will continue to play it. I've been AST main since it came out and have seen its ups and downs. I will of course play other jobs, and may even co-main DNC or SMN but I have to believe that the devs will bring my AST back in the next Expac similar to what they did with BRD from HW to SB. Only time will tell.

I'll probably still raid on WHM if I can get a group for it. But we'll see how much I enjoy the caster and ranged DPS. I am okay on BLM, RDM, SMN and BRD. So maybe one of those or Dancer.

After seeing what they did to Astro I probaly wont touch it again since it's been ruined for me. I plan on going to Gunbreaker on release of ShB, and going from there. If I need to heal at any time then I will play WhM.

I main White Mage and unless they delete the job I will keep at it. As for a "main" secondary job I'll go to Red Mage or any of the other magical DPS.
