We may actually get beastmaster but its more likely going to end the way of Blue Mage, pretty much if the job requires you to do more then just level it, it'll prolly be of those limited jobs...

As for new Jobs I remember a couple ideas I came up with years ago
Chemist - Healer! "Mix" ability combined a few other items together to create heals, buffs, and attacks. Mudra-esque have a couple skills that are different ingredients, mix and match them, then use a final skill to either toss your mixture onto friendly, onto enemy, or splash everywhere for aoe. Could also have a working Mug/Steal ability, snag an random item from a mob that you use with mix, so maybe it could come off rogue's line, melee healer with potions & poisons?
Mystic Knight - Mage Tank! Spellblade ability to imbue your sword with elemental properties. It would also use some original mitigation spells, shell, wall, reflect, and such. Idea I had before was Ice sword would be your def stance and Fire your dps stance, but since stances are more or less gonzo I guess it would need to work differently, maybe what element you imbue with changes certain skills or even your combo.
Fire sword - combo 1, norm>combo 2, aoe>finisher AOE high damage
Ice sword - combo 1, norm>combo 2, single target>finisher single target high damage
Lightning sword - combo 1, norm> combo 2, dot> finisher debuff
