    Early Access Guide

It time of the year boys and girls and people time to reload our Doritos and mountain dews put our alarms tell our bosses we something serious we cannot go to work on next day.It early access day!

But before jumping EA you guys need some procedures to how to survive the EA.Well lucky you guys I'm creating this guide to save you from fatigue, stress and boredom.

    Step 1:Prepare Provisions

It important to prepare our food, water, doritos,MD,coffee for EA it going be grind fest of pain & suffering it important to keep us healthy!

Step 2:Accessing FF14 aka Que Timer

One of biggest struggle of EA is Que timer to access EA and play the game. You will need a lot patience and clicking.

But what if you don't feel the struggle to do that?

I would recommended you when waiting for the Que timer get a book to read or read a internet article or watch Netflix. That would help you not get bored, calm and be ready to enter the world of FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Step 3:Patience to survive to technical problems

One biggest thing about EA is... you never know if it going be good or bad EA.
    When it's good is awesome.
But when it bad be ready for salty/impatience/sensible persons for MSQ & be stuck forever in "The Line".

I would recommended to do pvp, roullettes, leveling Dancer or Gunbreaker while "The Line" is getting fix.So you guys can pass through MSQ with new/old jobs leveled in certain degree & having cool mind.

Well I hope this guide help you to keep your sanity

I haven’t been this excited for an expansion until now. When I played ffxi I remember hearing about “Rapture” and seeing The Crystarium. Now I finally get to go there!!

So I actually plan on taking my time and soaking it all in. Reading everything and watching every cut scene. It’s not going to be a big rush for me.

I mean I still am getting prepared! I already mowed the yard, did all the laundry up and grocery shopped all that good stuff. <3

I had already planned to do Dancer first. Before I logged out last night, I used my fantasia, striped off my gear and logged out where the Dancer quest is. I will log in to the launcher, change to Viera, have my kindle handy so I can read while waiting in queue to actually log in - maybe read the forums and giggle at all the salt instead (I sure do love having dual monitors). Once I have Dancer unlocked, I'm going home and practicing with the skills for a bit on my striking dummies, then head into Othard to do fates til I hit 61, and do duty finder for LVL duty, 50/60/70 dungeon, MSQ, Trial, that sort of thing for exp, then do HoH. That way I will see if I like Dancer better than RDM and Bard - my 2 classes I main.

I've got all my retainers, saddlebag, and inventory all cleared out and logged out at my house per normal. Since I expect a big initial rush I'm going to have a nice sleep in tomorrow (took the day off!) and then get a nice bagel breakfast before logging in. My main focus is going to be MSQ, but if there looks to be any crowd issues when I'm able to log in I'm just going to focus on getting all my hotbars reset and practice rotations on my main classes. Figured more folks then not are probably going to all log off right where the MSQ or new jobs are going to be, so I'm gonna be leisurely about it.

Already mapped out my new NIN keypad layout in Photoshop. First 2 hours in game will be:

    1. Switch to Hrothgar.

    2. See which of my two glamours looks best on him. (Ironworks and 70 NIN set) If none, make a 3rd from the racial gear if he comes with a set.

    3. Re-do my keybindings to match the new layout and abilities (I assume I won't have the new ones yet..)

    4. Head to the dummies and get a feel for the new layout.

    5. Send retainers out.

    6. Start MSQ.

Nice! Now to add my own couple of steps that may help others....

    1. Make sure the bathroom has plenty of Toilet Paper for bio moments, as you know, the TP there is all you'll have now since it's gone from the game.
    2. Hand Sanitizer on the desk! Why? Because you rushed out of the bathroom without washing as you heard the 'Shwing' of the Duty Finder select you through your wireless headphones.
    3. A roll of paper towels. You know, for those moments when you scream at the monitor and your spittle sprays the screen.
    4. Fresh batteries for all wireless input devices.
    5. A pillow to go between your bottom and the chair. There's nothing more irritating than getting your backside waffled by the seat from long play times...

Good luck folks, and have fun!
