my first impressions of new DRG

Only 6 gone from my bars. That's rather light. I further admit that I did not even use goad once, the entire time I've had it. I thought of it exactly once, and was too slow to use it that time, and never thought of it again. The other loss I noticed was a positional...

Okay, now to clean everything off. First a peek at the role options. Positionals must not be gone, or else I wouldn't have true north being offered. Second wind and bloodbath to make being in close less painful, nice to keep those. Leg sweep didn't become an interrupt, but is a stun.

Traits, none left until 64, and all of them confusing. I smell underlying 1.0 code again, surely there would be better ways to do some of these things?

    1. I found the positionals. Normally trying to figure out placements I start with the basic skill and work forward. For this one I felt like I have to start with the end and work up to it. I suspect I'll still have to remake my bars every few levels, but that's a problem for future me. Fang and claw, and wheeling thrust, big, important, confusing.
    2. Okay, looks like my 1, 2, 3, and C1, C2, C3 are able to be the same feeling as before, main rotation and off rotation.
    3. Battle Litany feels like the perfect ability from the old skillset to move into the new skillset. Something that aids you, and others near you and encourages flowing combat positioning.
    4. With the TP cost gone, I think I won't be using piercing talon when I used to, not as much, not when I can now doomspike.

Positionals become much more important at 76. Lance Mastery II requires you to hit the positional requirements for both Wheeling Thrust and Fang and Claw to use Raiden Thrust.
