    A few issues with Dragoon I noticed from the full patch notes

    To improve player usability, the time frame within which players must execute actions to continue or complete combos has been extended.

    We know from the Media Tour this has been changed from 10s->15s . However:

    Blood of the Dragon
    Increases potency of High Jump and Spineshatter Dive by 30%.
    Duration: 30s
    Additional Effect: Grants Sharper Fang and Claw upon successfully executing Full Thrust, or Enhanced Wheeling Thrust upon successfully executing Chaos Thrust
    Duration: 10s
    I don't know if this was intentional or an oversight, but it appears that the combo extenders "Fang and Claw" and "Wheeling Thrust" now have a shorter window for completing the combo than any other combo in the game.


    Secondly, let's look at DRG's last 2 weapon skills in their 3-part AoE combo:

    Sonic Thrust
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 100 to all enemies in a straight line before you.
    Combo Action: Doom Spike
    Combo Potency: 200
    Combo Bonus: Increases Blood of the Dragon duration by 10s to a maximum of 30s
    Coerthan Torment
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 100 to all enemies in a straight line before you.
    Combo Action: Sonic Thrust
    Combo Potency: 230
    Combo Bonus: Extends Blood of the Dragon duration by 10s to a maximum of 30s


    Both of these weapon skills extend "Blood of the Dragon" by 10 seconds each. However, with Blood of the Dragon being a 30s duration and 30s recast, there's little need to have both skills in the AoE combo extend BotD TWICE. This brings me to my next point. Consider MNK and SAM AoE combos.

    Oka
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 100 to all nearby enemies.
    Combo Action: Fuga
    Combo Potency: 160
    Combo Bonus: Extends Shifu duration by 15s to a maximum of 40s
    Mangetsu
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 100 to all nearby enemies.
    Combo Action: Fuga
    Combo Potency: 160
    Combo Bonus: Extends Jinpu duration by 15s to a maximum of 40s
    Four-Point Fury
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 120 to all nearby enemies.
    Can only be executed when in raptor form.
    Additional Effect: Extends Twin Snakes duration by 10s to a maximum of 15s
    Additional Effect: Changes form to coeurl
    Duration: 10s
    Rockbreaker
    Delivers an attack with a potency of 120 to all enemies in a cone before you.
    Can only be executed when in coeurl form.
    Additional Effect: Changes form to opo-opo
    Duration: 10s
    Additional Effect: Grants Greased Lightning
    Duration: 16s

    SAM and MNK's AoE combo extends both of their buffs(including their +damage% buff) that are gained through their single-target rotation (Jinpu and Shifu for SAM, and Greased Lightning and Twin Snakes for MNK). Dragoon's AoE combo instead simply extends Blood of the Dragon....twice. Couldn't this be changed so that Coerthan Torment or Sonic Thrust extends Disembowel's +damage% buff?

    I agree. When we had heavy thrust it was fine since it was just 1 weaponskill, but having to go through a combo while other jobs refresh their buff with their AOEs seems awkward. Coerthan Torment should add 10 seconds to Disembowel.

    Not only that but in our single target combo we have barely few seconds to reapply disembowel which can be reduced to maybe 3.3~sec with skill speed of 2.3seconds. Even so it makes it so during shortest boss jump or time we arent attacking it we are forced to do either:
    Continue our full thrust combo knowing that disembowel will run out in mid combo OR reapply chaos thrust combo and clip the DOT hard.
