Question Any idea on how how a Gunbreaker Rotation would be set up?

I am reading through the Patch Notes and Job Updates, and I am assuming the flow they provided towards the bottom should definitely be worked into the ROT. I am just wondering what will be the most efficient starting out.

I guess we won't know until we experiment, but didn't know if anyone had come up with ideas yet for how they will set up their ROT.

Yeah it's going to take time and experimentation.

Rough Divide (per charge), Blasting Zone and Gnashing Fang have a 30 sec cd, while Sonic Break, Bow Shock and No Mercy have a 60 sec cd. That mean that you should always, without fail, line up No Mercy to fit all of those into it. That is IF the No Mercy buff affects the DoT effects. I am too stupid for math so I am not sure if that 20 second window is JUST enough to fit everything in or if its larger.

So in this badly put together case, with me not knowing which attacks interrupt combos, that's important, my main burst window idea would be:
Use the Keen Edge combo to store up 2 cartridges right as No Mercy comes up.

No Mercy > Gnashing Fang + Continuation Combo > Burst Strike > Blasting Zone > Sonic Break (?) > Bloodfest > Burst Strike > Bow Shock (?) > Burst Strike > Rough Divide = 5,988 Potency (probably wrong)

I put ? on the DoT's because where they end up would totally depend on how much is left on their timer. So here I simply tried to fit one ogcd between every gcd, put the highest potency abilities first in case No Mercy lines up with TA's 10 second window and then not let any cartridges go to waste. Let me know how terrible it is.

Single target / boss encounters could start with Bloodfest / No Mercy and go straight into a Gnashing Fang + Continuation combo or begin with the Keen Edge combo first, depending on raid buffs, etc. But that's for smarter players than me to figure out. Min / max and stuff.

If you dont have "No mercy" available, then you have to use a cartridge generator combo obviously.
For short combats i think the starting rotation should be:

Bloodfest (90sec) > No Mercy (60 sec) > Sonic Break(60 sec) > Gnashing > etc... to take more profit on the DoT damage from Sonic Break.

Generally shorter combat will only be with Mob pulls, right? So, yeah I agree, but probably replace Sonic Break with Bow Shock for that AoE DoT and then spam the AoE rotation.

By the time only one mob is left, the whole party will be focusing it and Sonic Break's DoT won't last long enough to be worth it, most likely.

I've seen that, which seems to be a full rotation:
