PSA: Keep the Gunbreaker & Dancer Starting Gear

For those who don't know, SAM & Red Mage both have armor chests that you obtain when you unlock the class. The gear looks like basic iLvl 115 gear, however, it can not be re-obtained once discarded.

Just wanted to warn you all that once you unlock GNB & DNC, you will most likely get a set of starting gear from a chest, and you should not throw them away as the sets could be unobtainable once tossed.

Also, just so people are aware - if you have tossed your RED or SAM gear, apparently they know of this issue & items are being added to the Calamity Scavenger in the update, so check to see if the sets have returned. As someone who tossed the SAM set, & loves glam - I'll be looking to see if the sets are back.

It won't matter much for Glamouring if they're job specific... They're not gonna show up on PLD/WAR/DRK and BRD/MCH respectively even if you do glamour with them...

RDM wasn't very unique and can be made again easily with normal gear but SAM was the Caster version of Doman set something you cant get for SAM again.

I want to say it's doubtful since it's crafted gear, but at the same time can't really think of another placeholder set that looks... dancery....aside from Shisui and maybe holy rainbow? /shrug

I'll be hoping for the Star Velvet mage gear for dancer. It would work, and be more unique than the Thavnairian set we can already access for glamour at the starting level.

RDM wasn't very unique and can be made again easily with normal gear but SAM was the Caster version of Doman set something you cant get for SAM again.

RDM boots were unique for casters actually. It's a pity they weren't bundled with the bliaud/gaskins gearsets more often - they always seemed to be missing boots that actually matched the look of it.

You can only get boots in that style as healer PVP gear or as Lv52(?) Striking marketboard gear.

Depends on if the gear actually looks good or not. I didn't care for SAM or RDM's starting sets so I just threw them out.

This got fixed! Lvl 50 and 60 starting gear sets can be bought from the Calamity Salvager.
