Regarding Companion App Compatibility Plans for Android Q (Jun. 27)

The latest Android OS version, Android Q, has been announced for release in July 2019. In preparation for this release, we are currently working on updating the Android version of the FINAL FANTASY XIV Companion App compatible with Android Q.

The Companion App cannot be launched on the current beta version of Android Q. Please refrain from updating your device OS to Android Q if you would like to use the Companion App at this time.

We will provide an update once we are able to determine a timeframe for Companion App to be compatible with Android Q.

The latest Android OS version, Android 10 has been released. However, we are still working on updating the Android version of the FINAL FANTASY XIV Companion App to be compatible, and currently, the Companion App cannot be launched on Android 10.

We are working to make the app compatible in the very near future. Until then, please refrain from updating your device OS to Android 10 if you would like to use the Companion App at this time.

We will provide an update once we are able to determine a timeframe for Companion App to be compatible with Android 10.
