Questions about Primal Database.

I just came back to the game after a break, and I'm on the Crystal Database. A friend and I were thinking about moving to Primal, and was wondering if anyone could give any information on current preferred worlds, or world populations =)

No preferred worlds and all of them are closed to new characters right now, but you should be able to transfer to any non-congested world.

Thanks. I was planning on transfering, since this character has a lot of store items, and a lot of Glamour items that I love =). Just wasn't sure which world to choose.

Forgive noob question, but, whats the diference about preffered and standard?

If I remember correctly, which I may not, it's been a while, on Preferred worlds you get an XP boost and on standard it's normal leveling. I'm sure someone will come along with a better answer =)

That's pretty much it. Preferred is also a server with a generally lower population than others.

Creating a new character on a preferred world grants an absurd bonus to xp up to Lv70 (60 now, but going up tomorrow), but prevents you from transferring away from that world for 90 days.

All of the Primal worlds are pretty balanced in population. According to the Lucky Bancho census, the difference between the lowest population (Lamia) and highest population (Leviathan) server on that datacenter is about 28%. In comparison, on Crystal the difference between the highest (Balmung) and lowest (Goblin) is about 84%.

Mind you, all of this may change on friday with Shadowbringers anyway so keep that in mind. And a whole bunch of new players have started since it came out so these numbers are likely all over the place anyhow.
