    Do people really expect this to be balanced? As someone explained above, you will ALWAYS have a class that is going to counter you in the same way your class will counter others. Really for the meeles the changes have been very successful, finally you can do 1vs2 and win, Bloodbath is a beautiful skill.

    Too many successful changes for my taste. Here it smells of people crying because they will not be able to do the things they used to do before.

    Uh ya no wrong. As even myself clearly posted I've 3 vs'd 1 people on ninja > won > still think the new PVP is for remedials.
    That is great that "now" you can kill people, but I'm sorry just because you couldn't DPS in 4.0 that doesn't mean the people that actually had skill in PVP already should have to bend over just because you can't play.

    Your definition of "Successful" change is distorted. No job, even if I'm the one doing it, should be able to just 3 vs 1 others. Sorry. That, is stupid. And INSANELY unbalanced. Me running around on Ninja popping player after player simply because my job is ninja and im good at it should NEVER = everyone else is going to die if they're also not ninja and half way decent players. Non melees need a buff and healers need to go back to being the challenge to kill they were. I shouldn't be able to run up to 2 decent player white mages and kill them single handedly with OUT fever or even high either.

    If I was selfish I'd agree with the changes, cause sure, killing 20 people per match without support healing even is fun, but I'm not. You feel no achievement for doing that simply because 5.0 pvp is heavily unbalanced, NO feeling of achievement with kills at all. Melee pvp was OP enough before 5.0, but not enough to make everything a waste of time.
    It needs to be balanced for all roles and this absolutely is not.

    At this rate PVP is just going to = either be 8/8 on melee or get the frick out of our party in a few months. Ranged? goodbye, healer? why bother tank? meh, distractions. Shouldn't be that way, and yes I main melee in PVP, that should say something. I dont want my main to be insane OP, because next thing you know they will be nerfed to all hell instead of the other jobs being "buffed". That is what SE does, they did it in 11 and they've done it here.

    Removing Enpi feels kind of bad, and it sounds like they removed similar abilities from all the other melee classes. SAM was already about waiting for the right chance to use things. Use Soten to jump in or save it for an escape? Now there's no way to build any kenki outside of melee range. It sort of feels like slowly charging in the fight and accidentally hitting people. We got to keep bolt, so that's okay, I guess.

    It just doesn't feel as calculated to secure a kill as it did before. Definitely far less fun in general, imo.

    So after playing with multiple jobs on the dummies, 1v1 and 3v1 (lol), I don't like WHM. I really, really would like my regen back especially. I do like BLM. Catching people with Blizzard and watching that HP melt is quite satisfactory. SAM feels... odd? I can't explain it. It's different, but just odd. DRK is DRK. Overall, I don't like Bolt being removed for most jobs. It's been a reflex button press especially when playing healer and gottagofast before an entire party murks me.
