Looks like Mor Dhona is the only place to exchange according to patch notes:

Red crafters' and gatherers' scrips can now be exchanged for yellow crafters' and gatherers' scrips at the scrip exchange in Revenant's Toll (X:22.4 Y:6.7).

This is incorrect. Both VI and VIII can be overmelded, just not past the first overmeld.


(advanced materia melding being the official term for overmelding)

For anyone interested, you will get White Scrips from the old Custom Deliveries at lv80. 40 per regular turn in and 60 if there's a bonus up.

I didn't realize the preparatory touch/synthesis actions were meant to speed things up by doing the same work as two similar skills but in half the number of actions.

I don't think they're likely to be viable for high end crafts unless you're using HQ mats, though.

I dont know if its a minor thing but they removed Steady Hand II from Additional Skill and only usable as Carpenter D:

Oh boy. They made infusions harder to craft as they now need two types of aethersand instead of just one and they also require enemy drops which means FATE farming will be necessary to make them.

I expect to see a heck of a lot more bots now...
